Through his belief that Canyon Ranch is a driving force for the growth of destination wellness, Mark’s vision for the future focuses on innovation, guest experiences and state-of-the-art tools, techniques, and expertise for body, mind, and spirit.

Mark has over 25 years of hospitality operations and property development experience as a master developer and principal of other resorts and clubs. He is the original master developer of the campus that is now home to the Driftwood Golf & Ranch Club in the Austin market. Before that, Mark was a development principal of Solage Hotels and Resorts in Napa Valley, and a former executive of Mirage Resorts, the Steve Wynn-founded, Las Vegas-based company.

Mark has a passion for fitness and outdoor adventure, and he can often be found on the ski slopes in the winter and hiking or bicycling in the summer. His passion and diehard dedication led him to complete the daunted RAMROD ride (Ride Around Mount Rainier in One Day), which includes a 158-mile ride and 10,000 feet of climbing. A basketball player and enthusiast throughout his life, Mark co-founded Hooplandia, a giant 3-on-3 basketball tournament in Springfield, Massachusetts benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs in the region.
